Types of presentations & workshop sessions:

  • Oral presentations will be organized in plenary sessions, in the auditorium room. Regular orals should last 20 minutes and include 3 minutes for questions and for change-over to the next speaker (i.e., 17 minutes of presentation + 3 minutes of question). Presentations should be uploaded prior to the session (USB flash drive only).
  • Poster presentations will be organized in poster sessions. Attendance will be expected on a specific day at a specific time block. The authors-in-attendance time will be given in the final programme. Participants should bring their posters already printed. Poster boards are in portrait format. All the material necessary for attaching the poster to the poster board will be available in the poster area.
  • Ignite talks for poster presentations will be organized in the auditorium room. An ignite talk is an oral presentation lasting 3-5 minutes, where slides are shown in “movie” mode, and change automatically to an imposed total duration of 3 or 5 minutes.
  • Marketplace presentations will be for participants to show their latest interactive tool, research or application product. Attending participants will visit each place or “booth” by groups and interact with the presenter. A typical interaction in the marketplace lasts for around 10-15 minutes, after which the people attending should switch to another booth. Tables will be provided to each booth. In case you are a Marketplace presenter, you must bring your own laptop. Check if you need a power plug (travel) adapter in France (plug types C and E). Wifi will be available, including eduroam (education roaming).
